Personal trainer software
Compared, job by job.
Most trainers pay a different app for each job. John counted a typical trainer's set of apps: about £109.99 a month, £1,319.88 a year. Here is each job, and what PT Manager does instead.
| The job | What PT Manager does |
|---|---|
| Bookings and a calendar | Clients book your sessions and classes from your own booking page. Your calendar sends every session to Google, Apple or Outlook calendar. |
| Taking payments | Clients pay you through your own Stripe and PayPal: online, by a pay link, or at the desk. FASTER takes no cut and never holds your money. |
| Programmes | Build programmes and a full season plan, and your client follows them on their phone, session by session. |
| Video analysis | Film a client, draw angles and lines on the video, measure speed and distance, and send it back with your voice on it. |
| Client records and check-ins | Every client, every session and every note in one place, with forms they fill in and reminders sent for you. |
| Your website | Build your own website by dragging blocks, and put it on your own web address. |
| Content for social media | Make client content in the Content Studio, with your name on it. |
| Being found by clients | A free listing on the FASTER Trainer Register. |
| £0. No monthly fee and no per-client charge | |
It comes free with any FASTER course.
What it does not do yet
- Your calendar goes out to Google, Apple and Outlook. Their appointments do not come back in, so your own appointments do not block your bookable times yet.
- There is no app to download from an app store. It runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or laptop.
- You use it with real clients once you are qualified and on the FASTER Trainer Register. Until then it is yours to learn on.
